This glove is the UFC's answer to the "ground and pound" gloves. The reason this is a ground and pound glove is it has sections made with padding to protect your partner.
It has pre-curved fingers which can help reduce fatigue. It is heavy on the padding for a grappling glove, thus the ground and pound title.
It is a closed palm with mesh ventilation. This is made to cool the hands down.
The glove also features new ClinchStrap. It has shorter strap as well as the regular strap. This is to help keep the gloves in place.
UFC did a nice job on these gloves and we feel a good addition to the UFC line up.
These are called a practice glove as they have more padding. This makes it easier on your partner!
If your buying these gloves then you are serious about training. I recently found a training program that enhances your BJJ on line. It is great in that it has interactive videos, which teach you things you take with you to class, or just practice on your spouse.
These gloves come in S/M and L/XL.
Here is what Jason Keis has to say about this BJJ System.
You guys have put together another amazing system. Mixed Martial Arts is the most demanding sport there is.
If you're not in fight shape you're going to get hurt in there.
Conditioning programs for MMA must include speed, strength, power, endurance, cardio and flexibility training.
These Guys have incorporated all of these aspects of training into their systems. You don't have to be a professional fighter to be in great shape; you just need to make yourself do the work.
