UFC Boxing Gloves - A Review
It never ceases to amaze me how popular the UFC and its
products are becoming. The UFC now has a set of boxing bag gloves
on the market and they are certainly well made and deserving of a
closer look.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has proven to be a powerhouse
in the world of pay per view. That is because it is one of the
most striking combat sports in the world. And striking truly is
an apt description since strikes remain a major part of the
process.
This has inspired many people to take up the art of boxing.
And when you do take boxing lessons, why not look into purchasing
top of the line UFC boxing gloves? And these are definitely top
of the line gloves which are why they are selling quite well.
Licensed
Yes, the UFC has licensed its name to high quality boxing
gloves that are perfect for training in striking. And these truly
are excellent gloves that are commonly employed for all manner of
training. In particular, these gloves have been especially
designed for bag work.
That means they will handle extended work on the bags over
many months without really suffering from tremendous wear. So,
you could consider these UFC boxing bag gloves to be a great
investment. They are built to last.
Durability
What adds to the durability of these gloves? They are made
from genuine leather and come with a nylon lining. And at nearly
$90, it is a good thing they are made of leather! In all
seriousness, $90 is a fair price for high quality leather
gloves.
And leather does add to the value of the gloves. They will not
start to wear down after they have been used for some time. That
adds both to their value and their safety level.
This is vital because you will need to spend a lot of time on
the heavy bag if you want to develop a high level of power and
endurance. And without these attributes, you won't be much of
a striker.
Specifics
The gloves come in the standard sizes of 12oz, 14oz, and 16oz.
Some may consider that the lack of a 10oz glove is a negative
although such light gloves are mostly used by very light fighters
exclusively.
Additionally, the gloves only come in the color black which
can be considered a detriment to those that would prefer a little
variety in their glove purchasing. However, the function of the
gloves is not detracted from in any way.
For myself this is probably the most important feature than
how it looks. Then again, all the boxing gloves I have purchased
over the years have been in the color black or red exclusively so
I may be biased.
From my perspective, I would have to say that the boxing bag
gloves produced by the UFC's product line are quite
excellent. That is why they are well worth looking at the next
time you consider purchasing boxing gloves.
The pros wear it, but what do you
think?
Do the UFC gloves live up to they hype? How do you think they
compare to Sprawl or other tough brands?
Find out what others say. Or better yet, tell us what you think
of the UFC gloves.
